Molly O! flys to washington to sing for her Senator's Presidential Campaign. However, she discovers he is not a nice person and she doesn't want to perform for him. Then, the nasty Senator threatens to tell the world that Molly O! once wet the bed after drinking to much Punch Fun!
Molly O! composes a tune to get back at her brother, Buzz, because he is always teasing her. The song, "Girls Rule, Boys Drool" was not intended for public release but Buzz finds a way to make the public hear it and the song becomes a hit. Molly O! finds out that she has hurt the feelings of many of the boys in her life, including her best friend, Chadd, as well as starting a war beteen boys and girls accross the world.
Molly O! gets annoyed by the constant distractions at home when the band are trying to rehearse for a live performance of the bands new single. Colonel Bobb rents the band a house for the weekend so that they can practice without interuptions. But, once at the house, her family won't leave, the press find out that they are there and descend on them and Molly O1 gets very stressed about her Live Radio Performance.
Some has-been entertainers that live in Appleton also, called "The Dancin' Schuburts" claim that Molly O! has pinched one of their songs. This is a false claim but only Molly knows it. All of Molly's friends point out other ways that Molly appears to have copied and she begins to wonder if she is "just a big copy-cat"
Molly O! gets annoyed when she is excluded from a Father and Son only event. So she gets Eddie to help her disguise herself as a boy to get entry to the event. Once she is made up, she looks considerably like her brother, Buzz, but she enjoys it. Her plan goes wrong when she breaks a sign at the Fond Du Lac Chees Factory and Buzz gets the blame.
When Molly's Favourite Power Girl, Flea, gives her an earing she decides that she MUST have her ears pierced. Her mom disagrees because she thinks Molly is irresponsible when it comes to cleanliness. She isn't allowed to get them pierced until she is 15 years old. Molly tries to convince her mom to let her pierce her ears because all other rock stars do!
Molly O! has to have her tonsils removed! Her imagination begins to run wild at this thought and she begins to fear that she will loose her distinctive and brilliant singing voice. She tries everything to avoid her 'tonsilectomy' but the throat begins to get really sore and she has to have them out!
One of Molly O!'s songs becomes so popular that it drives Buzz nuts. When Buzz remembers that Molly O! hates people imitating her, he develops a Molly O! look-alike contest at the Mall. He almost succeds in driving her insane until Molly and one of her imitators find out that its whats inside a person that counts.
Nub, Molly's Bassist, wins the "Best Sideman" award at the Hall of Famous Rock and Rollers he is pressurised into leaving the band and going solo. The problem is he doesn't want to leave Molly and she doesn't want him to leave either - they are just reluctant to tell each other. When Nub leaves the band are in serious trouble because they need a new bassist. Buzz decides to create a rumor that he is joining the band, which is completly untrue.
Molly O! wants to watch Saturday Night Late because her favourite comedian is hosting it. Mom says "NO" but Molly is determined to prove that she is old enough to stay up past midnight. But the next day Molly gets a last minute call to be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live!!! that night!
Molly O! tries out for the school choir but much to her horror she doesn't make it because her unique singing voice doesn't blend with the rest of the choirs. She pleads for a second chance, because she doesn't want everyone thinking that a famous rock star can't get into a choir, by silencing her unique voice and inturn straining her friendship with Chadd.
Whatever Happened to Molly O!?
Uh Oh, a rumour comes about that Molly O! isn't Molly O!, infact she's a 40-year-old man called Melvin who play's the role of Molly O!. She shrugs the rumor off until it is taken to great lengths and everyone thinks Molly O! is missing and Melvin is Da Man.
When Molly O! watchs a video Buzz made about his Wierd Room, she is shocked that he is actually a good video artist. With the video still in her mind, she writes a song describing Buzz's Room. Out of it she gets an angry brother on her hands and a public wanting another smashing music video. Molly O! realizes that Buzz is the only one who can create the right atmosphere for her video, so they have to settle their differences to work together.
